I truly loved Pawley’s Island last year. It was one of the best trips I have ever been on and at a great price too. I met several really great new friends in Brenda and Anita. We now hang out together and have photo fun.

I had a blast and learned a ton on my trip to Pawley's Island. Cliff and Tony, my guides, were excellent instructors who are open to answer any and all questions. They love photography, and that really shines through in their teaching.

Additionally, I met some great fellow photographers and have built great relationships that continue beyond the trip.

I am not an experienced "out of country" traveler, or an experienced photographer, so I was nervous going into my first big photo trip to Costa Rica. I had a blast! Prep for the trip was not so hard with the guidance of Cliff and my other guide. I enjoyed a lot of new experiences & have a huge album of awesome memories! I learned a lot from my fellow travelers as well as from the instructors. I look forward to repeating the trip to focus on a different angle of photography, since my fellow travelers shared pics that I never would have thought of taking. I have a lot of ideas on how to do the next trip differently. All the things I change will be because of my own change in focus. I loved being free to choose what I focused on (& will continue to do so), as it helped in my personal growth as a photographer. I love the doors & windows that were opened in my personal world as a result if choosing to participate in this opportunity!

I have had the pleasure of attending a few photography excursions with the guys from Wanderlust Photo Tours and I must say what a huge help they were. While having a basic understanding of how to take decent photos, I was lacking in some areas such as depth of field, use of filters and the like. This was where the guys vast knowledge and experience was valuable. They took me aside and helped one on one with my predicaments and needless to say my photos came out awesome. I am looking to many more shoots in the future.
